The Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty integrates rigorousÌýacademic studyÌýand focusedÌýdirect serviceÌýwith disadvantaged communities and persons. The intent of this program is to prepare students forÌýlives aimed at diminishing povertyÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýenhancing human capability.

Ìý

The Shepherd Internship Program is competitive and designed to serve members of the Consortium. It is anÌýeight-week summer internship programÌýthat places students with non-profit and government-funded agencies in a variety of human service sectors throughout the United States.

Participation in each program phase is mandatory. Prior to applying, make sureÌýyour calendar is free.
