Once the Committee on Educational Policies聽has drafted, considered, and/or reviewed a policy, it is shared with Faculty Council, and other committees where relevant,聽for comments and questions.聽 Afterward, it is posted for public comment for 30 days.聽 Following the comment period, the Committee will consider all feedback received and respond to all signed feedback, possibly make changes to the policies, and vote to formally approve them.聽聽

Approved educational policies appear in the Undergraduate and Graduate Bulletin, published annually and accessible at .

All comments are anonymous unless the comment-writer聽signs the comment by including聽identifying information.

UCEP has drafted revisions to the undergraduate and graduate Academic Honesty policies.

These changes include incorporating specific reference to AI use; adding that an AI syllabus statement should be posted for every course; and clarifying various ambiguities in the current policy, including possible grounds on which students may appeal a charge of dishonesty.
