The Michael Mansmann 鈥01 Endowed Scholarship for Creative Writing in Communication
The Michael Mansmann 鈥01 Scholarship provides a scholarship to a student who is a Communication major and has an interest in creative writing. Michael majored in Communication and had a passion for writing. During his years on campus, he wrote for the Carroll News and he also crafted short stories and poems. Described as a sensitive but gregarious young man, Michael worked at an Irish pub, where he was reportedly perceived as having notable ability to engage the people he encountered with charm and anecdotes.
