Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee is a sub-committee of the University Committee on the Student Learning Experience (formerly ).

The DEI committee’s charge includes:

Setting institutional goals for inclusive excellence;
Measuring progress on inclusive excellence goals outlined in the University Strategic Plan; and
Offering guidance to offices and individuals on meeting these goals.

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee oversaw the development of the University's first . This two-year plan was implemented in 2018 in response to an Inclusive Excellence objective in the 2015-2020 University Strategic Plan.��

In June 2020, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division formally closed out the 2018-2020 SPIE with the following:
