Why did you choose JCU?Â
I chose JCU because I wanted to play soccer in college and I knew I wanted to major in business. The assistant soccer coach (now head coach), Dejan Mladenovic, reached out to me at a local tournament and he sold me on the fact that JCU has one of the best business schools in the region.
What did you focus on while you were a student at JCU? Major/minors, notable honors?Â
I was a Marketing major.
What is the biggest takeaway from your JCU experience?Â
My biggest takeaway from attending JCU was embodying the Jesuit value of "being a man for and with others".
What inspired your future to get you where you are today?
One of the first marketing classes I had at JCU was Applied Consumer Insights 301 with Dr. Lova Randrianasolo. In the class, we discussed that consumer insight is an interpretation used by businesses to gain a deeper understanding of how their audience thinks and feels & how analyzing human behaviors allows companies to understand what their consumers want and need, and most importantly, why they feel this way. I loved the approach Dr. Lova took to teach us this material by making it very hands-on. The subject matter was very interesting to me and it inspired me to want to work in a Marketing firm where I can use the knowledge from this class in my everyday work.
